Mt Arthur Hut, Kahurangi National Park

Located just below the treeline, Mt. Arthur Hut has space for eight people on two sleeping platforms. It has a wood burner, an outdoor sink and a long-drop toilet. It’s a two-minute walk to get above the treeline for a spectacular sunrise.
It costs $15 to stay at Mt. Arthur Hut, and you’ll need to purchase a serviced hut ticket before you go.
