Salisbury Lodge,
Kahurangi National Park

Salisbury Lodge is located right in the middle of Kahurangi National Park’s tablelands and has fantastic mountain views from the spacious kitchen. With 22 bunks, this is one of the bigger huts in the area and is understandably popular. It has outdoor sinks, long-drop toilets and a wood burner, but really, it’s all about those views.
It costs $15 to stay at Salisbury Lodge, and you’ll need to purchase a serviced hut ticket before you go.
